Aratula "Bikes Thru The Bar" - April 2006
Nearly 1400 bikes in total were ridden through the bar to raise money for charity. It was a well attended event with a few club displays and plenty of merchandise for bikers and their partners. Bands entertained the crowds late in the afternoon and all around the pub camp sites where setup by those who were planning on staying the night.

The picture shows my partially assembled 1974 z1A and Daily Ride bike a 1976 z900 on display. A small number of clubs put on displays.

Three members of the Brisbane Z-Owners share a yarn.
To get an idea of just how many people attended this small event, these three shots just show the camp area behind the pub which is just in camera on the far right. To the left is an access road and the ground slopes downwards into the distance, there are just as many bikes down the hill as there are on top!

The queue to register and the line up of bikes is at least double this area again.
Bikes as far as the eye could see.....
The queue of 1300 people lined up for 100+ metres to register for the ride....
Only in Australia......
In case you are from overseas and wondering... just google "Ned Kelly bush ranger"
